Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word

I watched Buletin Utama just now. The brouhaha regarding GE’s bad-mouthing continues. The opposite party’s leaders when interviewed in their “respected” state now demand the Chief Minister of Pulau Pinang to apologise to their party. One of them is the one who shamelessly insulted the Bumiputera of Pulau Pinang not too long ago as if the Tanjong Tokong villagers are sting garden dwellers, ignoring the fact that those Bumiputera have lived there for centuries. Yeah sure GE did offer his apology after intense pressure, but one thing for sure is he did apologise. What about the Chairman of UDA? Did he ever apologise? I heard none, instead he reiterated his earlier misleading remarks. This is double-standard of the highest echelon; you did feel hurt when somebody insults you and your state, but when you insult others and their hometown you pretend as if nothing ever happens, then you claim you fight for your own race when in actuality you oust them from their very own soil. Bravo, bravo!
